Learning to Listen in English is a complete listening development program for beginning students of English. This workbook, along with the four audiocassettes, has been developed for a range of students-from junior high school to adult.

Fifteen thematic units progressively build skills, from listening for specific items, to analyzing information, to synthesizing data.

The units include:

               completing schedules and agendas
    - short dialogues that provide models of natural language
