This series enables students to learn and write a variety of text types. Each unit starts with a definition that clearly explains the text type concerned. The definition is followed by five sections to help students to: learn the structure and language features of the text type, practise their writing skills and edit and proofread their compositions. Different passages are provided for each text type to teach students how to vary their writing within the same text type. This step by step approach helps students appreciate and be proficient in writing various types of texts.
