This series enables students to learn and write a variety of text types. Each unit starts with a definition that clearly explains the text type concerned. The definition is followed by five sections to help students to:
- Learn the structure and language features of the text type
- Practise their writing skills
- Edit and proofread their compositions

Different passages are provided for each text type to teach students how to vary their writing within the same text type. This step-by-step approach helps students appreciate and be proficient in writing various types of texts.
