After over two years of preparation, the Economics and You series has been published. As its name implies, the series discusses the relationship between ‘Economics’ and ‘You’. Human beings are born with an interest in anything related to our lives. From years of teaching experience, we have found that students lack learning motivation primarily because what they learn in class is divorced from their daily lives.

This series is, therefore, written from the students’ point of view by finding the connections between Economics and their daily lives. It helps them grasp a basic knowledge of Economics through everyday examples, familiar issues, interesting cartoons and simple language. In addition, teachers’ teaching needs are also addressed to make the series user friendly for both students and teachers.
