English for Life is a course for the present and for the future. Written to help sutdents   develop their ability to use English and communicate effectively with it at school and beyond, it promotes independent learning of the language. At the end of the course, they will have gained the confidence and motivation to build on the groundwork for mastery of the languare.

English for Life is based on the Moe's English Language Syllabus 2001 and incorporates the initiatives of National Education, Thinking Skills and Information Technology. Both the contents and approach of the course are entirely consistent with the aims, philosophy and principles of Syllabus 2001 and are built on what language.

Each unit of the Coursebook makes use of written and spoken texts which engage the students in interactin with one another an with their teacher. They learn grammar and vocabulary in contex and develop skills in effective communication as well as in critical and creative thinking. The activities are designed to appeal both intellectually and emotionally.

Other components of the course package for each level are a Workbook, and audio CD and a Teacher's Guide.
