Diane Henderson holds a Bachelor of Education degree. She is a Reading Specialist with over 30 years of teaching experience as classroom teacher, correspondence teacher and reading advisor. She now runs specialist reading clinics and writes full-time, developing materials for primary school literacy programmes.

Jenepher Snell holds a Bachelor of Education degree and is a qualified Reading Specialist. She has been a classroom teacher, a correspondence teacher and a reading advisor for over 30 years. Lee Sow Ling worked at the Ministry of Education, Singapore, as Deputy Director and was involved in research, curriculum planning, textbook development and other aspects of English. She later joined the Straits Times Press, where she was English Language Consultant for 15 years until her retirement.
