Mathematics skills are utilized in every aspect of an individual’s life, whether a student or an adult. These skills, however, involve more than just the computation of numbers. Organization, investigation, logical reasoning, and communication are also basic skills associated with mathematics. Students must develop a solid foundation in basic mathematics skills in order to meet the challenges of learning. Once armed with these tools, they can face new situations with these tools, they can face new situations with confidence in their ability to solve problems and to make decisions.

The Fourth Grade Math program is offered to develop and strengthen mathematics skills. Each page provides practice in one specified skill. The worksheet can be used to assess students’ understanding of the concept before of after the classroom lesson, or it can be used by students who might benefit from additional practice, either at home or school.
