Reading and participating in drama can be an enjoyable, thought-provoking and creative process. Into Plays! Is an exciting series of two books (Book 1 and Book2), specially developed as an introduction to Drama, to meet the needs of lower secondary students.
    Chosen for their interest to students and their accessibility, the drama selections in this first book, Into Plays! Book 1, have been drawn from a diverse cultural background, with plays set across time in Singapore, Malaysia, China, the Middle East, England, France, Italy and ancient Rome.
    Skills relating to dramatic appreciation and performance are taught gradually and cumulatively. Students are taught to engage with the plays from their own point of view, as well as from the perspective of the actor, the director and the producer.
