"Learning Skills Series : English" is a series of three books that teach pre-school children the basic literacy skills for reading and writing. This series is made up of three books, one book for each level from Nursery to Kindergarten 2. This book, written for Kindergarten 2 children, takes a child from sound to meaning and provide children with additional skills for meaningful reading and writing.

    In addition to reading for word meaning and sentence meaning, activities are provided to train children to read for information and important details, to read for directios and instructions, to read for associative and inferred meanings, and to classify words according to meaning.
