This text is an introduction to the analysis and design of vibrating systems. Such a course is normally offered in the junior or senior year in mechanical engineering, engineering mechanics, and areonautical/aerospace engineering.
It is assumed that the student has a background in calculus and dynamics. Any other required material in mathematics, such as differential equations and matrix algebra, is developed in the text.
