"Milva" is a story about the magic of awareness. Don't we all-kids and adults-have bad days sometimes, where everything seems to be against us? Isn't our first reaction to blame it on the cirumstances, preferably on ther people, even on the weather? And doesn't that make us feel helpless, frustrated and more miserable? In her dream, the Magic Voiceshows little Milva that we are not as helpless as it seems. Even if we cannot change the circumstances, we can change the way we look at them, and that will change how we feel.

    Milva tells the story of empowerment from a passive, victimized rele to and active, determining role in a given situation using the simple example of a rainy day. Throughout the story the rain in itself is neutral, it acquires its emotional characteristics only through Milva's eyes, symbolized by the window.
