My Pals are Here! Vocabulary Skills is a series of books designed to engage young learners in acquiring essential vocabulary through the Contextualisation, Application and Practice (CAP) approach.
-   Full colour double-page illustrations contextualise new words in a meaningful and interesting way. These allow for both
    guided and independent learning.
- Teaching tips and games enable the application of the words learnt by reinforcing and extending pupils’ understanding of
    them. These also provide ideas for interacting with pupils.
- Activity sheets provide practice to ensure holistic vocabulary development. They are based on a systematic and
   comprehensive structure that covers word recognition, spelling, reading and writing. A variety of writing exercises, which
   include constructing short stories, reinforce pupils’ understanding of the new words.
