Shaping Mafths is an instructional package written according to the latest Primary Mathematics Syllabus provided by the Ministry of Education, Singapore. The series is designed to meet the learning needs of pupils from Primary 1 to 6.

This activity book comprises 4 units. Each unit includes activities corresponding to the teaching points in the last 4 unit of Coursebook 4A, and a section on problem solving. Other useful features in the activity book include: Review Exercise, These exercises help pupils consolidate their learning; Semestral Reviews, These reviews, given at the end of each semester, provide pupils with practice on multiple choice questions, short answer questions and long answer questions; Family Maths, This section offers suggestions on how parents can be actively involved in their children’s learning.

In addition, a sub section on Homework provides practical tips on how parents can support their children’s learning. It is hoped that Shaping Maths will make the learning of Mathematics a meaningful and engaging experience for every pupil as they embark on the journey to shape their mathematical knowledge.
