Through the Sight Word Safari series, children will systematically learn to recognize and understand the most important words young readers need to know. Each book in this series introduces 102 sight words. The books are divided into six thematic units that present 17 carefully selected sight words in meaningful contexts. Activities progress in difficulty as the emphasis gradually shifts from word meaning.

   puzzles.
- Activities that focus on word meaning, such as cloze passages, crossword puzzles, word mazes, and other fun activities.
- Flashcards for all of the sight words and suggestions for using them.
