Sound Reading and Writing is a four part series that covers the most commonly used sounds in a pupil’s daily interaction with the English language. Each unit contains activities for pupils to manipulate and blend sounds, form new words, match words to their pictures, practice writing the letters, and use new words learnt. Word lists are found in the appendix of each book. The first book contains lists of important high frequency sight words covered in each of its units. The second, third and fourth books contain compilations of the words covered in each unit to facilitate revision.
